Patrick Rexroat Memorial Fund

Spende geschützt
Patrick Stevan Rexroat, aged 63, of Everett, WA, passed away unexpectedly on August 3rd, 2018 in his home from complications of preexisting conditions. He is survived by his two sons Nick and Stevan Rexroat.

On Sunday August 12, 2018 there will be an informal Life Remembrance for Patrick from 12:00pm-4:00pm. The address will be released soon. Those who would like to join his sons Nick and Stevan to recount happy memories and offer support to the family are welcome to stop in. Light snacks and beverages will be provided. If you are able to bring a dish or beverage, it would be appreciated. Please no items with shellfish in them.

This unexpected loss has been devastating to his family. Pat's wife Carolyn Rexroat (nee Harmon) passed away in 2005 after battling breast cancer.  Pat and Carolyn had made it known for some time that they both wanted to be cremated and have their ashes spread at sea together upon Patrick's passing. They both agreed to have their final resting place be at Kalaloch, WA. Their favorite place in the world full of memories and love.

Pat and Carolyn were from Indiana and while at one point had family in the Pacific Northwest, did not have any at the time of their passing, outside of their sons Nick and Stevan. Pat and Carolyn were loving hardworking individuals who did their best to support their boys in all that they did.

Unfortunately because of the sudden and unexpected time of his passing Patrick did not have any financial support to leave for Nick and Stevan for his cremation, memorial service, travel and general expenses incurred during the passing of a loved one.

Nick, 34, lives in Seattle, WA and is a recent newlywed to Shannon Rexroat (nee French). Nick works as a server and is a full time student at Shoreline Community College. His wife Shannon is a recent graduate from the University of Washington and works as an in-home caregiver. Stevan, 27, lives in Plainfield, Illinois. Stevan is a band director/music teacher who has recently started the masters program at American Band College in Ashland, Oregon. Both young men are working very hard to create lives that are tributes to their beloved parents.  However, neither are at a point in their lives to fund the necessary steps during this very difficult time.

It would be appreciated by the family if you are able to donate and/or share to help with the memorial costs. Other offering of condolence and sympathy are also welcome. If you would like addresses to send cards or items please feel free to email or message the family.

The family would like to send love and thank everyone for consideration and support during this difficult time.

The following are words from Patrick's favorite band and favorite song:

"You call me a fool
You say it's a crazy scheme
This one's for real
I already bought the dream
So useless to ask me why
Throw a kiss and say goodbye
I'll make it this time
I'm ready to cross that fine line"
