24th World Scout Jamboree-2019

I have been selected to attend the 24th world scout Jamboree in North America in 2019, representing the UK as one of 4000 British scouts attending. It is an event held every four years with over 40,000 participants, making it the largest youth world peace event, helping scouts to build their confidence and gain experience of the world and other cultures with the event having a strong focus on local community and personal growth.

  To take part I this opportunity, I am required to raise around £3000 which will pay for the whole event including: transport, activities and equipment. Most importantly, £800 of my fundraising will go towards a scout from a less well-off country, who would struggle to gather the finances necessary to attend the jamboree otherwise.

  Any help with a contribution would be massively appreciated as it will be a large effort to raise funds over the next year and a half.
