Patrick Colbert's Family Visits.

Hello all,
My brother, see uploaded picture, Patrick Colbert was brutally assaulted and then ran over by his assailent who then drove off.
This occured in Birmingham at a time in his life when he was working hard to make a new start for himself. This incident happened while Patrick was making his way across traffic lights on his birthday. A few words were exchanged with an angry driver, whereupon, his assailent got out of his car and made some terrible decisions (as briefly described above). He handed himself in three days later where he is now being charged with attempted murder.
Patrick was Air Lifted to the Queen Elisabeth Hospital where he under went Emergency Neuro Surgery. In order to save his life a part of his skull was also removed.
He spent 7/8 days in an Induced Coma. His speech is not fully recovered just yet. He will also have to undergo another surgery for his head injuries. Patrick can not even walk around on his own as he gets confused and frustrated so he is under medical supervision 24/7/365 in case in falls on his head or even bangs it on his wound.
Further Treatment:-
Needles to say his recovery is Long Term. Patrick will have to undergo head surgery to repair the damage caused by this vicious attack. The Doctors can not, as yet, ascertain the full extent of the damage caused to his brain. He is expected to remain in the Queen Elisabeth Hospital for the next two years.
Why I am asking you to Go Fund Me:-
This Campaign is to raise money for Patricks Family to make visits from Ireland to the UK on a regular basis, as I am sure you can understand, we find it very difficult to leave him there - though he does have a fantastic network of family in the UK already supporting him. His Mother, in particular, needs at least one other to travel with her to go see him.
Funds will also cover accomodation needs. The Funds will also go towards any particular thing Patrick may need to for his own personal use.
