On August 20, 2016 Patrick Evatt was diagnosed with Primary Progressive Multiple Sclerosis. PPMS is a form a Multiple Sclerosis that affects about 10 to 15 percent of people diagnosed with MS. With PPMS symptoms gradually get worse over time rather than appearing as sudden attacks. You can find more information about PPMS from the link below.

Primary Progressive Multiple Sclerosis

Patrick has spent his whole life serving the community through his prior work in Law Enforcement and current work in healthcare. As many of you know he is the type of person that will always go above and beyond to help not only his family and friends, but the community as a whole. This is our opportunity to help him in return for all he has done for us.

We started this campaign to help Patrick and his family through these tough times. Patrick is currently out of work for treatments to help him rebuild his strength and beat this disease. As you may know, or can imagine these treatments are very expensive. Any small donation can help give him and his family one less thing to think about while he continues his fight.

Thank you all so very much for your generousity. We are headed back to Atlanta in the am. Will update as things progress. We have had plasma and steriod infusions... had a port installed , now a sleep apnea mask to sleep with at night .. numerous medications, and so far no luck. Prayers for good treatment with this chemo drug! God bless you all.

An update on Patrick. He is still going back and forth to Atlanta. The treatments are going well but there has been no improvement. We appreciate you all so much , especially your prayers. Please continue to pray as he will not be returning to his career. This is really hard on him and has discouraged him a bit. I appreciate all the call and encouragement as it has helped tremendously.
