Pastor Tom Goes to the Holy Land

My name is Pastor Thomas Kaul! I have been a Pastor for 33 years serving in parish ministry.  Some of the most soul-filling and transformational experiences of my life have been short-term mission trips to Central America and Mexico. Those trips have led to deep love for the people and their language.  Towards that end, I have studied Spanish for six years and have had the opportunity to serve those who speak Spanish but have been incarcerated.  These opportunities have created a profound love for the world and the desire to see as much of it as I can.  Through these experiences I have come to realize that the world has a face.  And that face is the face of Jesus!

Because such is the case, I have the opportunity to go to that place where Jesus Himself was born and where some were so very blessed to see His face!

In January of 2019, my brother-in-law, also a Pastor, is leading a tour to the Holy Land for members of his congregation.  He graciously invited me to join.  

As a Pastor, what an amazing opportunity this would be for me to see that place of which I have studied, taught and preached about for over 30 years!  To be sure, the experience would bring a new richness and depth to the ministry to which I have been called, and the people I serve.  I invite you, as you are lead by the Spirit, to help underwrite this experience because, to be certain, the world has a face!
