Pastor Matt's Battle With Cancer

The members of Ashland Baptist Church are humbly asking for your help for their beloved Pastor Matt Goodsell.  After many medical tests, Pastor Matt has recently been diagnosed with Squamous Cell Carcinoma, located in the paranasal sinus cavity.  The medical bills are already mounting and will continue to do so over the next several months as the radiation and chemotherapy treatments begin.  There will also be transportation costs involved as he is from a smaller town with no hospital. 


Pastor Matt, a native of Australia, is now a proud U.S citizen living in Missouri with his wife Katie and their young family.  They have been married for 17 years.  Katie has recently closed her in-home daycare to be available for Pastor Matt and the many needs that will arise during treatment.  Pastor Matt and Katie have four very active young children with ages ranging from 6 to 13 years old.
