Passing of a true horseman

Gil Stephenson was a wonderful all around man. He touched the lives of so many people and animals. He served for his country in the United States Army. He loved horses and choose to go to farrier school and has been shoeing horses ever since. Gil was always such a happy person no matter what. He always made the best out of life and  was the most selfless person I know. He would do anything to help anyone and had a true loving passion for horses.
He was a wonderful family man who worked very hard to provide for his wife and daughter. He was a loving husband, the best brother and as his daughter puts it, he is worlds best father, which I absolutely agree with. Gil was truely a wonderful wonderful man! 
Gil has sadly passed away due to a heart attack while he was doing what he loved, shoeing a horse. Gil was the soul provider for his family and his family would greatly appreciate any help you can give to help them cover the cost of the funeral services and also to help cover the cost of Gil's beloved horses that he has at his family farm.  The family is very thankful for the out pooring love they have already recieved during this very difficult time. Thank you!
My name is Kolby Berry and I have started this page with the permission of the family. I am from Goldvein, va and I live very close to the Stephenson family. I am a very close family friend to the Stephenson's as they have been a part of my families life for over 40 years. I have given all rights of the money to Gil's daughter Amanda and she will be the one to withdrawal the money from the account to help with the expenses of the funeral along with covering the expenses of Gil's horses.
