I am a scientist.
Many times I had to clone my own vectors. Something that is very difficult to deal with is when you have to partially digest your DNA. This procedure means that you depend on the probability of a product to "cut" or not your zone of interest, lets say. And if you cut your region of interest you lose your DNA. To depend less on the random event or probability, we dilute the "scissors" (restriction enzyme) and finally you get a product that is far from perfect but can be used as your template material.
After 15 years working in my research projects, I developed a system based in a 1h protocol that can give rise to a perfect product, meaning that we do not depend on random events.
This is not the first protocol to solve this same issue, but the previous ones published are too complex to turn them into a product. My product is much more efficient and can be sold as a kit.
I have my first product to be sold!
I contacted a distribution company here in Portugal, but I finally decided to risk doing it with you!!! Without any company mediating it! I am brave, and I know that I have a fantastic product! I dont need intermediates!
The money I am asking for is to:
1- Register the product
2- Register the company to sell it! (I am still working in a research centre! and I have a contract for 5 years more!)
3- Use in publicity, webpage of the product and marketing in general
4- Contract a technician to prepare the orders and send them to the costumers
5- Buy the equipment
This project is very important to me! I love to create new solutions for people that work in the laboratory like me! I have several other potential ideias but I have to start! This product is the only one that I can deal with in this stage of my career.
If there is a big shark out there interested in my product please try to contact me (just google Ariana Jacome). My idea is to give 10% of the profit for life.
If there is a substantial number of people contributing I will give each one 0.0013€ per euro donated in the first 5 years of the company's business life (to a maximum of 500€/month). This will be done annually to everyone that ask for it.
The price of the product will be around 69€.
