About Parkinson's disease:

Every hour, someone in the UK is told they have Parkinson's - a brain condition that turns lives upside down, leaving a future full of uncertainty. Parkinson's UK is here to make sure people have whatever they need to take back control - from information to inspiration. We want everyone to get the best health and social care. Ultimately, we want to end Parkinson's disease. That's why we inspire and support the international research community to develop life-changing treatments, faster. Parkinson's UK has funded my studies for a number of years so i can become an effective practitioner and support those diagnosed with this debilitating conditon. This is my opportunity to give back and help raise  awareness and vital funds which is needed to one day cure Parkinson's disease. I will be taking part in the  GNR 2019 to raise vital funds so a cure can be found to treat this life changing condition.
