Paris NanoTech Conference Expenses

Hello, this is Kevin Conley. From 2005 until 2014 I founded, developed, and led one of America's most successful Nanotechnology Education programs at Forsyth Technical Community College. With your financial support, this GoFundMe campaign will provide me with airfare and per diem expenses to present an Invited talk at the Paris Nanotechnology Conference on 16-18 July 2018. My opportunity is to tell the story of my nanotechnology program, and outline my vision for the future of nanotechnology education in the United States in an international forum. My desire is to 1) Reconnect with my American network to ground and develop my message, 2) Represent the challenges and successes experienced by Winston-Salem, North Carolina and the United States, 3) Begin again my career in nanotechnology education, collaboration, and research. The Paris conference organizer has expressed his great interest in my voice and accomplishments as a leading expert in nanotechnology education. I am deeply honored that my reputation as an inspiring speaker, effective organizer, successful fundraiser, and competent collaborator has - out of the blue through Linkedin - been so recognized. My invitation was extended on the 13th of June, only four weeks ahead of the conference. Time for preparation is short. I am in the process of seeking last-minute support from other sources of funding. At this time, I most sincerely call upon your assistance to make this opportunity come alive.
