Paraplegic dog needs funds

Tax deductible
SPOT,  a normally energetic, happy guy,  was given until this afternoon to find a home.  He is currently at a shelter and has been there since May,  when his homeless petparent had to leave him.

SPOT has to be out of the shelter by the end of day today,  7/27/18!

We have found a sanctuary for disabled dogs, willing to take him, but he MUST have a $5K doggie bank account to go there, as the costs of caring for a dog who will become more and more disabled will be astronomical over the coming months and years!

SPOT has a degenerative disc disease, which will slowly get worse, until he is unable to use his hind legs at all.  Currently, he can still get around a bit, but he does use a wheeled cart to have  longer walks or if he's having a bad day.

The problem is that he's in a shelter, which is overcrowded with animals and today is his deadline to GET OUT!

We have a boarding facility which he can go to for a short period, until we raise the $5K, but the sooner we can get him to the sanctuary, the happier he will be!

This is a huge amount of money to try to raise, we understand that, but it will be his own little bank account for medical care for the rest of his life and as those of us with pets know, vet bills can be very high, even for minor problems, let alone for the major disability that SPOT has!'

Here's a video of SPOT on a good day!  Not all days are this good for him, so then he uses his wheelchair.

Some people may say, "Why bother?"
But if you truly believe in NO KILL and a second chance for every animal, please DONATE to help SPOT, who has had such a run of bad luck, through no fault of his own!  He lived on the streets for years with his homeless  dad,  lost him and ended up in a shelter for two months and has this terrible degenerative condition, which will impact his whole life!

Please, Please HELP SPOT raise the funds for his new life at a sanctuary, especially for disabled dogs, TODAY?
Thank you.
