Paradise Spiritual Retreat

A dream and a vision brought us together eight years ago, to begin our mission to build a spiritual center that would be open and accessible to all regardless of religious affiliation or financial means.  We came to the Piney Woods of East Texas after retirement two years ago, at the ripe young age of 72.  We are buying 42 acres of beautiful pine trees and lots of brush.  We have built roads, a cabin in the woods, three meditation huts, three "Tipi Pods", and added one (Paradise) cottage.  We are out of funds and our backs are "killing us" figuratively speaking.  We still need a "barn" community center and a Chapel in the Woods.  We need strong backs, spiritual partners, and financial aid to finish what we started while we are still here.  We have a website, www.paradisespiritualretreat.com  which shows what we've done, what our ultimate vision is, and what's left to do.  We need help!  We knew we would be age-challenged and not able to work as hard as we once did; however, we still have a lot of life left in us along with our sore backs and limited stamina.
