Papi’s Last Hope: Board&Train

This is literally Papi’s last hope—his last chance at a life worth living.
He suffers from anxiety and PTSD from severe abuse. How many of us have been touched by someone suffering from the same kind of thing? It’s debilitating.
PLEASE contribute to Papi’s training camp. We have to have the money by tomorrow (7/4) or we cannot send him. He will lose his chance forever. $875 left to go. $5 $10 $20 helps way more than you realize!!!!

Papi was surrendered to BARC CT in the fall of 2017. He came to us fearful and suffered from severe anxiety having been abused and neglected by previous owners. He was suffering both physically AND mentally.
Papi received the veterinary care he needed and some basic training and we saw immediate improvement—so much so that we were able to place him in a home with WONDERFUL gentleman who truly understood him better than we ever could’ve hoped.....
Once Papi settled in and as time passed, Papi began to show signs of regression whenever his beloved new owner would need to leave the house—eventually bending mental crates and busting through thick wooden doors (see featured photo) became a regular thing.
Papi’s owner tried so many way to help remedy the situation but, to no avail. Medication seemed to only exacerbate the issues.
Papi’s owner refused to give up on him despite having the contents of his entire home damaged or destroyed. Friends and family grew concerned as Papi’s owner barely left his home in fear of what Papi might do to his home or even more so, to himself. It broke his owner’s heart to watch this go on.
We knew it’s not only Papi’s owner who’s suffering, Papi is too. A happy, peaceful dog he was not. He needs help!
Papi has been accepted to a wonderful Board & Train here in CT. We are more than confident that if we can raise the funds to put him through this much needed program, we will SAVE HIS LIFE.
I have personally spent plenty of time with this amazing boy. He’s is good boy. He WANTS to please. He was just never given the proper tools in order to succeed!
We have an opportunity to make that happen NOW—-but we need YOUR HELP!
We have 2 days to raise this money so that we don’t lose Papi’s reserved spot in the program.
