Please help my aunt, uncle and their family recover from Hurricane Harvey's devastation. The Pantojas are a family of six who escaped their Richmond, Texas home on a boat after their house took in nearly three feet of water.
The bottom floor of their home is a complete loss. They will need to cover the enormous cost of rebuilding the home and replacing belongings. They lost all furniture including mattresses and bedding, all major kitchen appliances, electronics and six family vehicles.
They do NOT have flood insurance.
The money raised from this fund will help pay for those costs and any others that might arise from this event.
Inside the home during the flood were my aunt and uncle, Cynthia and Daniel, their three adult children - Jessica, Marcus, and Yvette - and their daughter's boyfriend Edwin who also lives at the home.
Thankfully, everyone is safe and staying with family as they work to clean out their house. They have a lot of help and support from friends and neighbors, but repairs still must be funded.
This is the second life-altering event they have faced in recent years. Just a few years ago my 21-year-old cousin, Jessica, battled and survived ovarian cancer which had spread through much of her body. She has been cancer free for two years.
