Panola Ridge Sanctuary: A Refuge

Please support us as we set up Panola Ridge Sanctuary as a safe space, offering refuge for people, animals, and nature. As a nonprofit center for creativity, education and spiritual practice, Panola Ridge offers people an opportunity to discover the fullness of the simple life, opening to its depth and wonder. With healthy food, holistic healing, homeopathy, meditation, and spiritual guidance, Panola Ridge Sanctuary fosters wholeness and wellness in life.
At the Panola Ridge all our gardens are grown organically, using permaculture principles. Animals are never hunted on the sanctuary and farm animals are not killed for food. We seek sustainability: our heating and cooling is geothermal, we harvest rainwater and we compost our organic waste.
Our 50 acre Panola Ridge Sanctuary offers stunning views of the surrounding countryside, a two acre pond, fields and forests: a true refuge. An artist residency program is being developed that will alllow musicians, artists and writers a retreat for deep immersion in their creative pursuits. Panola Ridge Sanctuary is the home of Open Door Interfaith Zen, an affiliate of the Pacific Zen Institute.
Will you help us as we bring our dreams to reality? Panola Ridge Sanctuary was envisioned by the late artist and visionary Kathleen Cummings and holistic physician Dr. John H. Parks. Panola Ridge Sanctuary is a "Sisters of Wild Earth" farm, a Wild Earth Farm and Sanctuary program designed in support of women-led farms with a focus on sustainability, education, and animal protection.
Will you support Kathleen's last wish that the dreams for her farm and sanctuary continue to inspire and enrich the lives of people and animals into the future?

1. $3000- 501 (c)3 nonprofit status lawyer's fees
2. $7000- Farm and sanctuary educational programming, outreach, creative and spiritual programming
