Pancakes the puppy's surgery

Hi! This is Pancakes. He is a 12 week old corgi/golden retriever mix.  We rescued him a few weeks ago but he's been unable to eat without vomiting and pain for weeks.

After several vet visits it was discovered that Pancakes has a congenital condition called persistent right aortic arch, where a vessel is wrapped around his esophagus and preventing him from swallowing normally. 

Unfortunately, this condition will eventually be fatal without surgery to correct it.  With surgery he has an excellent prognosis. The surgery is complex and requires a special veterinary surgeon. It is expected his surgery itself will be at least $3,000.

We will be using funds from the gofundme for the surgery itself and any recovery and hospital stays after. 

We have only had Pancakes for a few weeks but he is part of our family. Giving him up for adoption (especially knowing he has an expensive medical condition and may not get adopted or get the care he needs) is not an option.

Below is the barium xray of Pancakes. The bright white bulge is the esophagus bulging before the stricture. The second round white part is his stomach.We appreciate any and all help you can provide and when Pancakes is better we are offering free puppy kisses and play time!
