Pancake's Vet Bills

Hello! If you know me, then you probably know my cat, Pancake. I found Pancake when he was around 4 weeks old and we have been through so much since then. This weekend he suffered a blockage in his urinary tract. This in turn caused many other chemicals and waste chemicals to rise in his body at alarming rates. He was rushed to the UGA emergency vet since no other vet was open at 4am on a Sunday. They told me he needs a procedure to flush his system of the toxins and he would have to be admitted for a few days to do other tests and make sure his vitals could return to normal. If I didn't get this taken care of, he would die. I was initially distraught at the cost estimate as there was no way for me to afford it, but the decision was clear. Although they did a great job with the initial procedure, it was too costly for me to proceed there so I got into contact with his primary vet (who was kind enough to come in on his day off) to do the rest. Pancake is currently at the vet recovering and has been there since Sunday. He is supposed to be discharged on Thursday (3/22).

If you know anything about liver/kidney health in cats, his Blood urea nitrogen level was at 158 (30 in normal) and his creatinine was at 13 (normally 2). His potassium levels were extrememly high (risking cardiac arrest). He was very close to death, and I am just so grateful to have gotten him help in time.

Despite this, the whole ordeal will be quite expensive and seeing as how I am a measly college student, there is no way for me to afford it. So I am asking for help in paying for my cat's medical bills. I will be forever grateful for any contributions.

Bates Animal Hospital - 601.52

He has been at Bates Animal Hospital since Sunday around noon so around 5 days of care plus different blood and urine tests, x-rays, and medications.
