Community Emergency Response Team

Donation protected
PakistanOnFoot-The Walk
As part of a community that has either been directly affected, or know someone who has suffered due to natural and man-made disasters, you no doubt understand the pressing need for learning critical life-saving skills such as first aid, CPR, basic fire fighting & search and rescue.

Thousands of lives are lost each year in communities that are unable to help themselves in times of disasters, while they wait for state or private response agencies to show up but cannot reach them in time because they are delayed due to major roadways that are affected due to the disaster. This is much worse for communities that are remote, such as the community that we are working with in the Passu region of Gojal, Gilgit-Baltistan.

Our efforts to establish this pilot Community Emergency Response Team (CERT) can't take effect unless we have the support of everyone in our community, which is no longer restricted to Pakistan or Pakistanis, but our fans and fol
lowers from across the globe!

That's where you come in!

I'm writing to ask you to donate to help our founder, Naveed Khan, who as you read this letter is walking 2,300 kilometres on his own to raise money from Khunjerab (the Pakistan-China border) all the way to Karachi. By donating, you will be able to support a cause that will not only help save countless lives but also train trainers who will then train hundreds of others in areas that are equally remote in the region. The amounts we are asking for go as low as $10/person or as high as you want, as long as we can reach our total target of $53,000 by the end of December, 2016.

If you would like to donate or have questions about where your hard-earned money will end up, you can contact me directly on [email redacted] and I'd be more than happy to answer your questions.

Follow us on Instagram: @pakistanonfoot and @hunzaonfoot or check out our pages on: fb.com/pakistanonfoot and fb.com/hunzaonfoot if you'd like to follow our founder's charity walk across Pakistan and stay up to date.

I hope to hear from you soon, and thank you in advance for your generosity.
