PAISA Short Film

Hi beauties. As you may know, throughout my career, my music and videos have always been funded independently. I have enjoyed the freedom of putting out work that I strongly believe in, and have had the opportunity to collaborate with exceptional artists who will forever form a part of my heart.
"PAISA" will be the most ambitious visual work I have created thus far. Inspired by my song of the same name, this short film will be an immersive fever dream, celebrating the beauty of queer brown sensuality, body positivity and individuality.
I am delighted to work again with my longtime collaborator, filmmaker Graham Kolbeins. We have invited a strong group of artists to bring this project to life:
Yosimar Reyes (poet, activist)
Rubén Rodriguez (visual artist, performer)
Roy Martinez aka Lambe Culo (visual artist, designer)
Manuel Rodrigues (visual artist, DJ, performer)
Isaac Prado (makeup artist, designer)
Production has already begun, and I want to make sure that everyone involved is properly compensated for their talents and hard work. Your support means that we can continue to put our heart, blood and guts into this project AND pay bills at the same time.
Every donation is a huge help, and there are perks for those of you who are able to donate a little more:
ALL donors get a credit in the film
- Donations upwards of $100 get a bundle of art, CDs and zines
- Donations upwards of $500 get a private living room concert by yours truly (for cities outside of Los Angeles, you would need to provide airfare/transport)
