Paige Goertzen Memorial Fund

My name is Rachel Wells,  I am the sister to Ashley and sister in law to Shane. On October 14th Shane and Ashley gave birth to a beautiful baby girl Paige Annalynn Goertzen at 5:32pm, however very shortly after birth Paige passed away and went to heaven due to reasons unanswered at this time. When Ashley went into preterm labour at 31 weeks that morning they were expecting and preparing for a premature baby only to later that day have their world and future become completely ripped from under them and turned upside down. Nothing can prepare you for such unexpected heartbreak and this is the most difficult thing the couple could imaginably go though. Shane and Ashley are now faced with the reality of having to make final funeral arrangements to bury their sweet baby girl, take time off work for healing after birth and coping mentally with the heartbreak as well as going through the grieving process. Financially, this is something no one would ever expect to be ready for while awaiting the birth of their child. Donations will go towards baby Paige’s final arrangements and getting the couple through this difficult time. They will never get over what has happened, but it will hopefully get better with time. Although baby Paige wasn’t here long on earth, she will live on forever in the hearts of her mommy and daddy as their little angel always. She gave them the gift of becoming a Mother and Father and for that they will forever be grateful.   The funds will be transferred to Shane and Ashley immediately after the fundraising is complete.
