Paesan aka Monkey - In Memory

Paesan (aka Monkey, my mother's name for him) was our family cat whom we adopted my junior year of high school. He was a beautiful, passive and dignified Maine Coone and the most energetic and playful kitten you might ever meet in his younger years.

To me, Paesan was the sibling that I never had. To my parents, Monkey was the second child that they never had. While we could never agree on his name, we were unequivocal in our love for him and our appreciation for how he brought our small family even closer together.

Our dear boy lost his battle with renal failure this December. In his memory, my aunt and I are asking for your holiday gift towards the ASPCA Monmouth County, New Jersey - where my father and I adopted Paesan on Black Friday, November 2003.  We will donate all funds earned from this GoFundMe effort and request that the money be used to procure medications for sick animals, as well as towards rescue and adoption.

(We are doing this as a surprise for my mother, so try not to spill the beans if you know her!)
