Pacific Bible College was founded in 1991 with the goal of providing classes and study towards enriching students understanding of the Bible. The College is not directly affiliated with any church or denomination. It is located in Medford, Oregon, with classroom facilities in the building. Pacific Bible College is funded through student tuition and through the giving of God’s people.
Presently, we are in the process of seeking accreditation through the Association of Biblical Higher Education (ABHE). We are in position this year to achieve full accreditation which will be the culmination of a seven year journey of prayer, work and comittment by our students, faculty and staff.
This campaign is to raise the funds for our initial accreditation team visit in October of 2017. Full accreditation will be a great benefit to our students and to the mission and growth of the college. The expense for the visit is something that is a sizable addition to our normal Fall expenses, and the funds raised through the gofundme community are critical to accomplishing this milestone event in PBC's growth.
The crux of Christian higher education is “doing” for the truth. We have an obligation in our current culture to do everything we can do for the truth. Purveying truth is the privilege of our calling ― an action of love toward our community and the world. Biblical higher education is a rampart against truth decline―it is a healer of hearts, minds, families, and confusion. We have that type of power and opportunity as doers for truth.
Accreditation raises the standard of academic excellence and provides greater access and avenues for truth. Our students will be afforded greater access to follow-on four year programs, vocation, and missional opportunities. It will also establish PBC on a pathway of growth that will be significant in impacting the community, nation and world through our graduates.
