Meditation for Shelters in Arkansas
Donation protected
Our goal is to bring free meditation sessions to schools and shelters with the intention to empower women and their children to make positive changes in life and succeed. Pachika Meditations is a new non-profit organization in Fayetteville, AR.
· Pachika's Mindful Project for Shelters and Schools offers free meditation classes at selected schools and shelters that consist of basic breathing and relaxation techniques for children from kindergarten to 12th grade and for teachers. Mindfulness educational programs are proving to empower students to reach their potential and pursue their own goals; such as be more creative, more relaxed, academically and personally.
A class involves breathing exercises, discussions about meditation, fun activities, and simple stretching movements. Children learn to self-regulate, to calm down or to lift themselves up through practicing meditation.
Our goal is to provide 300 hours of free meditation classes and reach 1500 people in 2017. Help us reach the goal. If it benefits one person it benefits all of us!
