Beth & Tim Gould's Baby Campaign

Donation protected
In August of 2012, before I ever met Beth, she was diagnosed with Stage 4 Breast Cancer at the young age of 32. Beth went through months of aggressive therapy including chemotherapy and radiation. She then underwent a double mastectomy. The pain and fighting didn't end there. When I first met Beth when we moved into our neighborhood, she was still going thru this awful nightmare. I only knew what she was going  through by reading her caring bridge updates and by asking her questions. From the moment we met Beth & Tim, my husband and I knew we had friends for life. They are such amazing people and I often tell my friends and family "everyone should go through life being able to have friends like them" and "I am sad that it took me 35 years before I met them". People who know TBG (it stands for Tim Beth Gould but Beth likes to say it stands for Team Beth Gould) will not be surprised at what I am typing here. If you don't know Beth...I wish you did...so you could see what a fighter she is and what an amazing friend, wife, daughter and sister she is.
While Beth is a fighter...her body seems to be working against her. She is cancer free, yes, but has recently found on a routine PET scan a "bastard cell" that is trying to grow into something. She started a new medication just recently approved by the FDA.
When she was diagnosed with cancer, she and Tim were in the stages of trying to start a family. When she kicked cancer, their biggest plan and hope was to have children. Now that Beth is on a new medication, she needs to have shots in her stomach to keep her ovaries shut down so that the medication can work. I don't understand all of medications and procedures...I just know that Beth is not able to bear a child of her own. Soon, she will have a surgery to have her ovaries removed. After all of the pain and expenses of going through what she did...her dream of carrying her own child is over.
There is hope, however, and this is where we can help. I would like to raise money for Tim & Beth to help them with the expenses of surrogacy or adoption. They don't know what the future will hold...but no one deserves a child more than this couple and I feel it deep down in my heart that they will have a family some day.

I have included a link to Beth's Caring Bridge site so you can see her story as I have most definitely only covered a small amount of it.

Thank you very much for your time!
