"Children of Tomorrow" is a music project to create meaningful & inspirational music for children and our inner child spirits in order to bring about world peace.
The goal of this project is to use song as a catalyst for uniting our one human family for peace on earth and a beautiful sustainable world for our future generations.
We are inviting support to bring this music project to life - in the form of
1. recording a new album of music
2. bringing this music to the children, families and community whose hearts are calling for it.
The Vision of the "Children of Tomorrow" is of a world living in harmony, where children are valued, honored and protected - where all people have access to clean water, clean air, healthy, nutritious food, safe homes, and good education. We envision a world where humanity lives in balance with nature and values one another; a world in which people understand the currency of human relationship and cooperation as fundamental necessities for the accomplishment of our goals, and for the sustainability of our future.
WHO AM I?
I am Karen Seva, MDiv., MSW, CPC - best-selling author, singer, healer, teacher, life coach, musician, activist and mom. I began singing before I could speak and became deeply connected with devotional practices and a profound love of the Divine from a young age. I've spent most of my life studying meditation, psychology, mantra, shamanism, yoga, energy healing, sound healing and ancient wisdom practices. Seva means Divine Service - and this has been my life path. I'm also a Certified Professional Life Coach, Music Together Teacher, Naam Yoga Teacher, Harmonyum Practitioner and Reiki Master.
It took me a while to figure out how to combine all these different parts... and about 5 years ago, it started to come together. I've brought these different disciplines together to form an approach to working with individuals, families and groups based on activating the voice, embodying a state of childhood playfulness, and accessing one's highest potential.
I'm the founder of “Sing the World Awake!” - a motivational music, movement & yoga program for children of all ages. I've conducted children singing for the Dalai Lama, for the Agape Spiritual Center, for native elders as well as spiritual leaders from around the world. I also founded the International Children's Day event - "Children Sing for the Future" - which unites the children of the world in song for the healing of the Earth and for world peace.
My life's work is to unite the world in song - so that we all may remember who we are - brothers and sisters in this beautiful world - here to help each other - to be the best version of ourselves & to be a Blessing to all those we meet.
The music of "Children of Tomorrow" is oriented toward providing such a platform for self-worth, emotional intelligence, coping skills, as well as activating our natural capacity for health and wholeness. In addition, the music of "Children of Tomorrow" is for the purpose of knowing we are loved, remembering who we are, and fulfilling our true purpose.
"The music" is a combination of sacred sounds in words and melody united with original song lyrics to inspire in the listener a sense of connection and belonging.
"The concert experience" involves all participants singing - multiple vocal parts simultaneously - paired with Naam Yoga mudras - which are hand positions used in order to stimulate the energy meridians of the body to bring about optimum health and emotional and mental clarity and balance; in addition to yoga, dance and movement.
Each concert experience is accompanied with resources and tools to connect the community for greater harmony, health and social support.
The ultimate goal of this project is to unite the hearts, minds, bodies and voices of all people on the planet - regardless of race, class, gender, nationality or religion - in song & action for all things good!
WHAT WE NEED:
- To record EACH song cost roughly $1000-$1500 - to record 11 songs costs (yikes) anywhere from $11,000- $16,500 - this is just for the producer, his musicianship and the studio time
- To hire additional musicians on an 11 song project can cost a lot! I am budgeting $10,000
- To mix and master - around $1100-$2200
- To get together promotional materials - pictures, write-ups, graphics, hard cover CD replication - minimum $3000
- Fulfilling the Package requests (could cost from $1000-several thousands of dollars - depending on where we have to go for concerts)
JUST THESE COSTS ALONE MAX OUT THE ASKING AMOUNT OF $21,000 (They actually could come out to $38,700) plus the fees taken for doing this gofundme.

We just had our second annual event for KIDS in honor of International Children's Day called "Children Sing for the Future" - which united children around the world in songs for peace on the planet and as a call to awareness regarding the impact of our choices on the next generations! We partnered with leading parenting, youth empowerment, yoga, spiritual, corporate and wellness organizations from across the country to bring this event to life! There is so much more that needs to be done in order to empower our children and our world to thrive! Please contribute to our cause!!
WHAT WE DO:
1. We make really good fun music that gets everybody singing and moving
2. We create the space for self-love, self-valuing and self-trust among our youth and the people who support them.
3. We build community and link like-minded individuals with groups and organizations who are doing great work for children and families.
