Well... Here I am, Kat, the girl who always prides on being independent and always claims she can take the world head on all on her own, is asking for any bit of help. This morning, October 9th, tradegy struck for Olivia,Kaia and myself. It was a typical morning of me not wanting to wake up just yet, Olivia brewing her espresso and Kaia cuddled up in my bed being the love that she is. Kaia and I went on our morning stroll and sge was happy, full of energy and sniffing away.
As you all know, Kaia is more than just a dog to me. She's been my companion when I had to leave everything I knew and move to the unknown in California. She was my best bud and she's always been by my side. She never leaves it. And I can't leave her. This is why I need your help. She was struck by a black pick up truck this morning who did not stop for her and kept on driving. I hope no one has to endure this feeling. I feel helpless. After a day spent in the ER. Kaia underwent her tests and her results came out better than expected. Yes, she needs staples for her wounds. No, there is no internal bleeding thank goodness. Yes, she needs to have surgery. Her pelvis suffered the most damage and needs surgery. After all the medical bills I received today, it's shy of 11k. any contribution helps us.
