Rally for Nurse to Patient Ratios
Donation protected
We are a small group of registered nurses who are organizing a rally to be held May 12, 2016 in Washington, DC .
This rally is to raise awareness regarding patient safety and staffing levels.
The money collected will go to paying for rental equipment for the rally such as a podium, stage, and tables. As well as for banners and signs to be used at the rally.
We would need the funds by May 1, 2016.
This event is very important to us as registered nurses who are concerned about the safety of our patients and as people who will one day be a patient ourselves. We take pride in our profession and an oath to advocate for our patients. We see daily how profits are more important than patient safety and we want to make a change.
The intention of the rally is to raise awareness to this problem and incite change with promoting national patient safety legislation. Our mission is to provide safe conditions for patients and nurses. Rally For National Nurse-To-Patient Ratios. May 12. 2016. #NursesTakeDC
We will be every thankful for any contribution made, as we are working nurses on a mission with humble finances.
Any money that is collected but not used, will be donated to a nursing scholarship.
