Medical Bills

Jeff and I are experiencing terrible financial difficulties due to medical bills in the amount of $28,000.00. This is a very common story in our country. We are older and just can't pay the cost of healthcare. Jeff had a heart attack when he was between jobs and had no healthcare coverage. We tried to get in the Affordable Care act for coverage but we were denied because we missed the deadline by 24 hours. We tried to have the companies work with us for a payment we could afford, but there were so many we simply couldn’t make the payments they requested.

We are trying so very hard to pay off these debts but we haven’t the funds.   Any help would be appreciated.
