At Dees Place of Comfort, our mission is to provide re-introduction into civilian life to our heroic Veterans, through affordable and upscale residential living. Many of our Veterans left lives of comfort, only to return to no home, no family and little to no money. Furthermore, our mission is to greatly assist in conveying a level of appreciation to our Veterans, for their service to our country, on behalf of all-American citizens.
Dees Place of Comfort, based in Tampa, Fl is a 501(c)3 non-profit organization which provides transitional housing for our homeless veterans. Each room is completely furnished with TV's in each room as well as the common area. We provide most of the food, washer and dryer and all cleaning supplies.
Our veterans come to us with multiple problems and because of bureaucracy some have not been able get the help that is needed. We have gotten very positive results from many of the veterans that have reintegrated back into society from Dees Place.
Dees Place of Comfort works closely with several organizations, but sometimes donations are not coming in, therefore, in the interest of the veterans housed at Dees, I am reaching out to the community for help. The funds will be used for the operation of the home and possibly help position our organization to start another home for our homeless veterans.
Getting involved means that we acknowledge that, after all, these Veterans didn't sit back and do nothing when we needed them most. Let's get involved to show them we are not sitting by idle, when they need us most. All donations are appreciated and are tax deductible. Your support can make a difference!
