Owlet Monitor for Baby Ava

Hello! At 35.5 weeks pregnant my sister's water broke. Upon being admitted to the hospital for induction my sister learned that her baby Ava had Gastroschisis- a condition where the intestine grow outside of the body, which requires a lengthy NICU stay and a procedure to close the belly. Luckily her recovery has gone well. She has been at Inova Fairfax for a month and if all goes accordingly she will be home before thanksgiving. My sister Brandy had to stop working when her water broke and she had Ava via c-section. She spends her days visiting Ava at Inova Fairfax which is a lengthy drive- which means finances are tight. The Owlet Monitor measures heart rate and Oxygen sats continuously which gives parents peace of mind. Brandy and Bryant would really benefit from having this, as they have recently learned that Ava's lungs fill with fluid which can cause erratic breathing.
