Owen’s Kidney Transplant 5/10/18!

On May 10th, 2018, my nephew Owen will receive a long-awaited precious gift - the gift of a new Kidney from an amazingly generous, anonymous living donor.  Owen is 12 years old, and was born with a condition called Polycystic Kidney Disease, and the inevitability of a Transplant was always apparent.  
Although a family member was in the process of being approved as a living donor, Owen’s Kidney function declined to the point of needing to push him up on the transplant list as an urgent case.  This lead to the unexpected news of the anonymous donor and upcoming transplant.  
My sister and her husband have been busily preparing for Transplant day.  There are also two other children at home who will need care and attention during this process.  As you can imagine, both parents want to spend as much time as possible by his side to help with his recovery.  This Go-Fund me page is intended to raise funds so that they may be at Owen’s side as he makes his way through the recovery process, and to ease the financial strain for this family.  If you are able to make a donation, please do so.  Please share and help support this family through Owen’s Transplant journey.  Thank you!
