Outdoor Rehabilitation Aviary

So many of our native wildlife are affected negatively by human impact and sadly too many of them become injured and need the help of volunteer wildlife rescuers and carers.

My name's Kim and I've been a rescuer for over 3 years and started caring for wildlife last year.  I love what I do so much but unfortunately there's not really much funding for the rehab of injured or orphaned wildlife so I, like many other volunteers, use my own part-time wages to buy equipment, food, treatments, enclosures, carriers, petrol and any vet bills, to ensure I can successfully rehabilitate and re-release injured and orphaned wildlife. 

One of my current goals is to build a large outdoor rehabilitation aviary so I can properly house various species of birds that come into care. Birds need a large space to keep stress levels minimal and to be able to exercise their wings and build up strength before release. 

My wonderful Brother has offered to help me build the aviary, however I need some help with funds to purchase the building materials (wood, wire mesh, screws, tin panelling, handle and lock, hinges, shade cloth).

Any contribution would be amazing even if it's just a small one!
