Out of the Ashes: A New Beginning

Life has a tendency of delivering some devastating blows, to say the least. As was the case for Michael Anderson, of 400 W. Pasadena Avenue, Clewiston, Florida.
On June 1, 2018, after wrapping up his daily routine as an automotive mechanic at Jimmy's Tire Service, he settled in for a quiet, peaceful nights sleep, [so he thought]. Around 1:45a.m., he was suddenly awakened to several loud explosions occuring just outside his garage. Frantic, he jumped out of bed, ran into the living/dining area to see a blaze of fire forcing its way through the walls and ceiling. He had to think quickly. Realizing he was not the only occupant in the building, he ran outside to his neighbors, who were also asleep, and began banging as hard as he could on their door. He was successful in waking them up, and informed them of the fire danger and their immediate need to seek a safer location. In the midst of all the chaos, Mike didn't have time to salvage any of his personal belongings. He lost his only means of transportation, a Dodge pickup truck, and another truck that was going to be restored later. (See photo)
Thankfully, everyone escaped the fire unharmed, but Mike was left with only the clothes on his back.
The side-job Mike managed at his residence for years, as a highly-skilled mechanic/auto-body repairman, had been completely destroyed. All of the tools needed to perform this type of work (air compressors, torches, wrenches, gauges, etc.) was completely destroyed. He was devastated. The job that had, for so many years, helped to sustain him, and make ends meet, no longer existed.
Mike currently resides with a friend until he can get back on his feet and to life as he knows it. He is in immediate need of funding to purchase the bare necessities we all take for granted (food, clothing, personal items, etc.)
He is a very hard-working, modest man, and is yet to openly ask for help. Friends and the community have come together to give any assistance and support we can, so that he may rebuild and move forward as quickly as possible.
Any donation amount helps and will be greatly appreciated. Please share this information with your friends and loved ones.
May God bless each and everyone who finds it in their hearts to donate to this worthy cause.
