Our Village School Roluos Cambodia

Sarou was born and raised in Rolous Lech Village. He was one of the only two students from his village that completed secondary education. He started his career as a teacher but now he works in the tourism industry guiding people across Southeast Asia.
Sarou lives in Thailand with his wife and two sons. He is still connected to his roots and visits his village. He is aware of the poverty and the difficulty parents’ face in paying for their children education. He knows firsthand the impact that education has on improving a person's livelihood. He often sponsors students to help alleviate parents’ financial burden.
Sarou's dream is to build a school free of charge in his village where students would learn English and other life skills. He met with the village leaders and they have agreed to this project. At the moment he needs funds to connect electricity, build a bathroom, and buy a water container, whiteboard, chairs and school materials.
