Our Odyssey teams needs your help

$8,255 of $29,000 goal

If you were a kid that chose to color outside the lines, if you couldn't help but draw, act, build, doodle, write... and most importantly DREAM BIG, please show us some love and donate.

Last weekend, our Bath Maine kids used their amazing brains and created something that turned heads. Their Odyssey teams did the impossible. After 7 months of writing scripts, engineering structures, creating costumes and building everything from props to backdrops, three teams from our small town won 2nd in the Maine Odyssey of the Mind State competition.

Sending our kids to the World Finals gives them a chance to compete against 825 teams from 35 states and 15-20 countries. Many of these young elementary and middle school students have never traveled outside of Maine before and this experience will positively change their lives forever.

Our goal of $29,000 is to cover the flights, accommodations, meals and registration fees for the 3 student teams and their coaches, a total of 24 people.

In a time, when innovative programs seem to be drying up in schools around the country, help send our teams to World Finals and stand with us as we prove there is value in teaching our kids to use their natural ingenuity to solve problems.

One dollar...
Ten dollars...
One hundred...

The smallest donation can make the biggest difference.

Thank you.

Day five - last day but chalk a block with activities. Started our morning watching some of the older teams compete. So many ideas about how to up our game for next year. We swung by the international market and bought Odyssey swag from our new foreign friends. We cheered as our BMS team performed and then went to an amazing awards show. Afraid we won't be bringing home a trophy, but we are all totally inspired to try it all over again next year.

Day 4: We finished up our Spontaneous will a baptism of silly string and squeezed in a NASA classroom. Team Balsa Fisher Mitchell competed in their long problem. Only one more team to perform. Good luck BMS tomorrow. We ended our day with the coaches challenge. Our tower didn't stand tall enough, but we looked fabulous.

Day 3. Our first Bath team competed in their long term problem. Go Fisher Mitchell team A. The other Fisher Mitchell team and team BMS finished their spontaneous problem. Way to go! We all ended up at the coliseum for the banner and float parade. Crazy fun.
