Our hearts beat in unison

Donation protected
Last Wednesday, December 4th, our dear friend, neighbor, massage therapist and pickle ball enthusiast, Terri Jordan dropped to the ground suddenly on the courts. Her heart had stopped beating. Luckily, a former RN and a retired firefighter were among those trying to help. The courtside defibrillator was employed and likely saved Terri's life. She was transported to Leesburg Regional Hospital for seven days of testing and monitoring of her heart.

Today she will be transferred to the University of Florida Health Center's Shands Hospital in Gainesville. Once there, the doctors will continue to study the condition of Terri's heart, using MRI and other sophisticated diagnostic tools to determine the efficacy of inserting a defibrillator directly into the cardiovascular region.

As a self-employed, unmarried 62-year-old, Terri does not have the means to cover this major medical expense and long-term hospitalization and rehabilitation costs. Without a doubt, this life-changing event hit Terri sideways and the last thing she should have to worry about is how to pay the bills.

Let's all come together to help heal Terri's broken heart. Please give generously, letting your heart guide your gift to Terri's heart's mending.

From the bottom of our hearts, a tremendous thank you!! We'll update you along the way.
