Our brother Gom's Funeral

On Tuesday March 14th, Our dear brother, Gom Dang, had a fatal fall, while at the Grand Canyon, that lead to him passing away. This fund is for Gom and his family.
While on vacation, Gom decided to visit one of his long anticipated parks, the Grand Canyon. And while having the happiest moments of his life at the park, Gom slipped and fell from the rim of the canyon west of Mather Point. The fall was about 170ft and he was unable to survive the fall.
Gom was a tremendous young man. And "tremendous" is truly the word that best describes him. Greeted everyone with a big bright smile on his face, and always had a warm heart and open arms for everyone. He was a hard working young man, had a great love for his country South Sudan and huge dreams of making a big difference in his community, a great leader and mentor to many of the youth in Iowa and Kansas City, MO, someone who, from the moment you meet them, you know you'll never forget.
This is an unexpected loss to everyone especially to his mother and younger brother, who are currently living in Ethiopia, and being that Gom was their only care taker and provider, this loss will be very tough.
This fund is being set up to help cover the cost of transporting his body from Arizona to Iowa, and to cover the funeral cost in Iowa, and any other cost associated with this sudden lost. Gom's family will need our help and support in this tough moment.
