On August 10th, 2019, Heather Brianna Pineda was involved in a car accident and did not survive, she was only 20. Heather graduated Yerington High School in 2017. She dedicated herself to animal rights and throughout her life, she would convince her parents to buy her a variety of different pets and would rescue animals and randomly bring them home. She spent endless hours in the garage with her Dad learning how to change a tire to learning how to rebuild engines. She was adventurous and loved to drive her quad with her Dad in the mountains behind her house, she frequent shooting guns and fishing with her Dad. Heather enjoyed shopping sprees with her Mom and would pamper her by styling her hair, painting her nails, and doing her makeup. She would squeeze her Mom cheeks and say “My short mama, I love you”.
She enjoyed kids and committed her time at The Boys and Girls Club in Yerington. From an early age, she was fascinated with fashion, hair, nails, and make-up. She pursued her passion and became a RedKen IAS student. She later was approached by a photographer and began modeling. Heather had a colorful spirit and vibrant personality and loved to travel with her parents. She loved to put a smile on people’s face.
Heather leaves behind her Father, Mother, two sisters and four brothers. The cost of everything ensuing this event is unexpected and any amount you can donate will go a long way towards helping the family. If you can’t afford to donate, please consider praying for them as they continue through this tough time in their lives. Through all of this they are completely overwhelmed with the amount of love and support that they have felt. All of your thoughts and prayers are truly being felt and making a difference.
