Gone, Never Forgotten (funds for the kids)
Donation protected
I never thought I would be writing a GoFundMe for my brother-in-law.
This morning I got a call that he didn't return home but he was in OHSU. I was asked to call them and check status. I did and everything seemed normal. They said Ale (his wife) was conscious but that it would be a good idea if family was there. When I asked about Osiel and everyone else that was admitted with him they said they weren't sure yet and they would give me a call in 30 minutes.
As I was getting ready to go to OHSU thinking I was only going to visit and maybe be the ride when they were discharged, I got the worse call! "Bebe (Osiel) didn't make it" My heart dropped.
Short story it was a car accident that killed my brother-in-law.
I'm writing this GoFundMe because Osiel leaves behind a family. He leaves behind his son, daughter, wife and of course mother, brothers, father, nieces, nephews and friends.
Ale was also admitted to OHSU. She survived. She is now a widow and losing a husband is hard as it is but to have to raise your kids alone when deep down you're breaking is hard itself.
Ale suffered a broken jaw, ribs, a few fractures and a broken heart.
Aside from funeral costs this family needs money for the kids and his wife.
She is left to pick up the pieces. There is absolutely no words I can think of that can possibly describe the pain inside. No one should be alone in a time like this so please, lets come together as a community and assist them in anyway we can.
For those who are asking how you can help, we can start by taking a little of the financial burden off of their family as they have a long hard road ahead of them. I also want to ask for prayers and words of encouragement, as it is a really tough time.
Psalm 6:6 " I am worn out from sobbing. All night I flood my bed with weeping, drenching it with my tears."
Psalm 31: 9-10 "Be gracious to me, O Lord, for I am in distress; my eye is wasted from grief; my soul and my body also. For my life is spent with sorrow, and my years with sighing; my strength fails because of my iniquity, and my bones waste away."
