O.S.A.T Ride For Standing Rock

As months passed, small actions seemed to not be enough. How could I do more??

Well in the midst of thought my brain shouted to me. Ride your horses to Missouri for the standing rock Sioux tribe seemed like a pretty perfect idea!

You see, this ride is not just me riding my horses out on an adventure to raise money for a just cause. It is so much more than that.

In my heart this ride is also about unity, bringing people together who may not do it on their own accord. It is about opening people's eyes and hearts to one another. Yes, we may all have our differences and thoughts of opinion, but we all share this world.

In these trying times I feel that it is more important for us to stand together than pick each other apart.

So this 980 mile ride for Standing Rock is to show our support for everyone out there, but it is a ride for unity, solidarity, love, compassion and kindness. And we hope that through the compassion and support of others that we can make it to our destination safely.

We are hoping to initially raise roughly $5,000 prior to the start of our journey to help us fund our trip. There is a lot of gear that we already have, but we are still lacking some important pieces needed for ourselves as well as the horses.

This money will also go towards feeding ourselves and our horses. It will roughly cost $20 a day to feed the horses and $10 to feed ourselves, if all goes as calculated.

We are extremely grateful for all of your support and any donation amount goes a long way! Even $10 will feed us for an entire day :)

The other $20,000 of our goal is to be split between Standing Rock and The Solutions Project, an organization that promotes clean energy projects throughout North America! We are hoping that through our actions we can all make a difference and continue to step in the right direction, one step at a time :)
