Orthopaedic surgery for Joy Ikiere

Joy Ikiere is my friend and we go way back to University of Calabar in Cross river, Nigeria. She was preparing for her wedding when she and her would husband had a ghastly car accident. He escaped with minor bruises to his face while  she suffered a severe fracture to her hips and pelvis.
He has since called off the wedding and left her to face these problems alone.  Joy is a single mum who despite the odds has tried to keep her job as a teacher, and as the days roll by, her job gradually slips through her fingers as she is in excruciating pain and unable to  walk let alone do her job.
She was formally diagnosed by doctor Bolanrinwa Akinola( consultant othopaedic surgeon) of  Cedarcreast hospital ltd in Abuja- Nigeria as having Malunited  right acetabula fracture with right protrusio acetabulli and cystic degeneration in femoral head.
The plan is a reconstruction of her right acetabula and right total hip replacement.  The surgery will cost 4million naira which is aļmost £8600. She is a mere school teacher whose hope of ever raising that kind of money has been dashed miserably. With no one to help, no one to turn to, I'm turning to everyone and pleading to your humanity to help this poor mother of one get back on her feet again. Fate has been so unkind to her, that's why I'm reaching out to everyone to please  kindlycome to Joy's aid. I strongly believe in humanity and i know you'll all come through for her.
