What is an MSE and how would one benefit OTEC?
A Multi Sensory Environment, is a room or area that is used for relaxation and work. It's a space that usually contains items such as; bubble tubes, lights, pictures, aroma and music therapy, among many other items. The amount of stimulation can be controlled for every individual who enters the room.
Some of the positive effects of an MSE are; better concentration and memory retention, participants have a sense of calmness, relaxation and agitation tends to dissipate.
We will keep everyone updated on the progress of our MSE and look forward to sharing the finished project with you all!
