Opportunity for a Young Changemaker

Hello again, friends.
I'm here hoping to raise money for an extraordinary opportunity being offered to an extraordinary person many of my Facebook friends already know by now... he's the young man who's working so hard to bring a money-saving, smoke-free, environmentally friendly charcoal to his community in the D.R. Congo. (Scroll back on my Facebook page and you'll see many posts/updates about the fundraiser that is currently up and running for him.)
Well, because of his tireless efforts, he has been selected to attend the 2nd African Youth SDGs (Sustainable Development Goals) Summit in Ghana, November 7-9, where he will be able to learn from and about other young African changemakers.
I really want to see that he has this opportunity to go, so I've set up this separate campaign.
These are the costs involved:
Passport: $310
Visa: $144
Flight from closest airport (Kigali, Rwanda) to Accra, Ghana: $400
Ground transportation: $100
Summit participation fees: $300
TOTAL: $1,254
Can any of you join me in helping out and donating a little? It would mean the world to him. He could learn so much, and he's SO-O-O deserving. All donations will be sent to him via Western Union.
