Operatic MezzoSoprano -David Seligman Opera School

I am a young operatic mezzo soprano and have recently been accepted onto the prestigious David Seligman Opera School in Cardiff which I am currently raising money for to go towards my course fees.
I knew my Masters was going to be financially challenging but the rise in tuition fees has made things unexpectedly difficult. Although I work part-time, this can be difficult with such a demanding course and is something I would like to limit so that I am able to dedicate my time and energy to the course.
My whole life has been dedicated to performing and building my career inside and outside of my studies and I have been fortunate enough to have performed with various opera companies across the UK, including making my professional debut with the Welsh National Opera in 2015 as part of their semi-chorus for their welsh language commission opera, Gair ar Gnawd.
My consistent hard work and dedication to my craft has paid off and in the summer of 2019 I will be covering my first role (Sister Lillianne) at the Welsh National Opera in their upcoming production of Dead Man Walking by Jake Heggie.
Taking up a place on the David Seligman Opera School has been my dream since I first started my studies so that my ambition of becoming a professional opera singer would be in sight. This course is the essential next step in my training and will give me a chance to develop my vocal technique and stagecraft skills further as well as allowing me more audition opportunities.
