Dannies' Medical Battle

Dannie was born with Gastroschisis, he had several surgeries as a baby and recovered. As a child he suffered from stomach aches but always pushed through it and played sports including football. Twenty years ago he had a small bowel blockage and had emergency 6hr surgery. He fully recovered but once in a while had a stomach ache. Then in 2007 he became very sick and was diagnosed with Crohns disease(which we were never sure if they truely diagonosed it correctly). The first year he lost 80lbs . Fighting the disease became a daily battle, with changing lifestyle and food. In 2014 he had a small bowel blockage, ended up in ER and then sent home. Since that time he has been in the hospital for small bowel blockages 15+ times, 4 in the last month, suffering malnutrition ,in chronic pain and losing more weight and muscle mass, with a total loss of 120lbs so far! Now the doctors have concluded he needs surgery and will be in the hospital for 1-2 weeks. Recovery time depends on how surgery goes. He is a kind, big hearted man, a loving husband,devoted father and awesome grandfather. Always taking care of his family and helping others in need. Please help this fund to cover his mounting medical bills and living expenses while he is out of work.
