Hello everyone,
My name is Goran. I want to dedicate this gofundme page for a memorial of my best friend and for funeral expenses for his family.
I would like to say a couple of things about him. We meet when we were 5 years old. So basically we went through everything together.
*sweet kid, right? :) That was good days.
His father died in a war when he was still a baby, so he never had a chance to meet him properly.
Regardless of that, he was a happy kid, with a smile on his face, living his life to the fullest.
By origin he was Croatian, but he moved to Ireland in hope for a better life. He actually got that. Better wages, more job opportunities, a chance to advance and finally succeed at his dreams.
He basically just started with his life!
Soon he found a love of his life, and he got engaged. They did some traveling around the world and enjoyed their lives. They moved in together and the wedding was supposed to be next year.
Unfortunately, in that period he got diagnosed with cancer on the stomach. He did surgery and chemotherapy and that thing was gone.
Doctors said he just need to check it in case it comes back.
At his next scan, they caught a bit of his liver and it wasn't in the proper color. So after they repeat the scan, they realized cancer was back.
And not only it was back, but it also affected his other organs as well. It spread so fast that it was impossible to do anything to help him.
They sent him back home to Croatia to see his family for the last time. Luckily, he did it. But then after, that was it. He didn't suffer much, it took him so fast.. Maybe a little bit too fast.
He passed away in his young age (29) on 20/07/[email redacted]M.

I know money can't bring him back, but it can help his closest in this situation. So in this way, I am calling everyone who can or want to donate something for a funeral or any other expenses which can occur in moments like this one.
