OMG we are going to AGU 2019!

We are 8 students from Malcolm X Shabazz HS in Newark, NJ, and I am Patrick Murray, their math teacher and research science coach. For the past 7 years our students have been performing novel enzyme experiments and collecting authentic research data that contributes to manuscript publications in leading science journals. The AGU conference is a world wide scientific conference where our students have qualified to report out their science to the world through AGU's Bright STaARs program. There are currently only 400 students on Earth who have qualified as Bright STaRS, and we are 8 of them! We are raising money to fund ground transport, breakfast, and T-Shirts to attend AGU 2019 in San Francisco December 10th to the 13th, 2019. Our Superintendent was WoWed with our awesome science, so he is funding flights, hotel accommodations and some incidentals, but we need to do the rest. We are asking you to fund hotel breakfasts, T-shirts, and Ground Transport to/from airports and to/from the convention. Please help us make this a memorable experience. Thank you.
