OM World Finals - Ridgefield

For the first time, a Ridgefield Library Odyssey of the Mind Team has qualified to participate in the World Finals in Iowa in May! Odyssey of the Mind is a creative problem-solving program that provides a framework for kids to demonstrate innovation, resilience, and teamwork. The Ridgefield Library supports the program in the town of Ridgefield, CT. Odyssey of the Mind is unique because all aspects of the problem must be solved by the students, adults may not contribute ideas. This year, six 4th and 5th graders from four local schools worked together to build a ride-on vehicle that could complete  various challenges, all while telling a creative story. This team is raising funds to help support their travel, participation, and transport of their materials to the competition in Iowa. Funding will not go to support any adult coach or chaperone travel. All funds will go directly to supporting participation by the 6 students. All donations of any amount are truly appreciated. Thank you for helping these students to represent Ridgefield in this unique event!
