The Olympia High School Sailing Team competed in the NWISA Fleet Race District Championship regatta April 28-29th.
After 2 days of challenging racing the Olympia High School Sailing Team secured both 1st place AND a berth to ISSA High School Sailing Fleet Race Nationals in Houston, Texas May 11-13th.
We need help with the extensive travel costs associated with the tight turn around from qualifying to competing at Nationals.
Our costs will include: air fair for a team of 8-9 sailors, 1 coach, 2-3 chaperones, lodging for the entire group, and rental cars.
Any excess funds not used for travel to Nationals will go directly to the Teams on-going fundraising efforts to purchase a fleet of new boats to replace our aging, and tired fleet.
