Ollies Health Fund

We are the pround parents of an incredibly brave 10 month old boy named Ollie. He was born 10 weeks early with a Congenital Heart Disease - Double Outlet Right Ventricle, PDA, ASD and VSD which led to two heart surgeries before he was 3 months old he went in to cardiac arrest in his first surgery and was only 1.8kg at that time. Since then he has also had an Inguinal Hernia operation at 5 months old. Ollie will also need hopefully only one last heart surgery in the future. At present his heart is stable.
My partner and I are working with a team of specialists (Speech pathologist, Physiotherapist, Occupational Therapist and Dietitian) and his pediatrician to make sure we do everything possible to get him to his full potential.
He has some developmental delays and needs extra attention.
Ollie has been fed with a nasogastric tube since birth as he has feeding difficulties. He is currently on a waiting list to have a Percutaneous Endoscopic Gastrostomy (PEG) which is a flexible feeding tube that is placed through the abdominal wall to allow us to not only feed Ollie but also give him his medications.
One month ago he went back into hospital to have a brain MRI under general anesthetic and there were some complications that followed but the Doctor's discovered he has Obstructive Sleep Apnea that was not originally picked up so during our stay in hospital we where taught how to use the CPAP machince as we will now need to have one with us while not in hospital. So he is home now with a CPAP machine for him to use 'everytime' he sleeps including the littlest nap. We are hiring it for now at $60 a month, the first mask was $100 but if we should need another it will be $250 for each mask there after. The machine plugs into the wall at home although we will be needing to purchase the portable battery so he can sleep while we are out otherwise we will be confined to our home. That battery cost will cost us $650.
He takes Esomeprosole for reflux and that isn't covered by health care so that is $44 a month.
Because of the level of care Ollie requires my partner is unable  to go back to work and I work  long hours to try and get as much as I can for us but the cost of all this plus all our own living expenses is too much. We want to be able to buy our boy everything he needs to excel in life and would appreciate any contribution you could make. We sincerely thank you
